Visit the stables and watch the racehorses in their training environment.Talk to the manager and trainer and get information about horse racing from the inside which will help you in the future if you're ever lucky enough to own your own racehorse!
The Experience
Beginning with an informative close encounter of a Racehorse Training Yard, where you will meet the Racehorse Ownership Manager and see Racehorses work on the training track in the fresh early morning mist.You'll be shown how they train the horses, what they are fed and the techniques used to select the best race for the horse, whilst all the time what it takes to keep these fine specimens in the highest physical condition.
Then it's off for lunch and the chance to hear some of the highlights and low points of owning a Racehorse.
Itinerary
- 10.30 am Arrive at training yard- Introduction with Racehorse Ownership Manager
- Meet the Racehorses
- Oversee the Racehorses put through their paces on the training Gallops
- Lunch

Please remember this experience is exposed to the elements, warm clothing is also advised.The minimum age is 16. This experience is limited to one person; should you wish to bring anybody else a guest pass should be purchased, please contact us to do so.
