STEEPLECHASING has taken place at Stratford Racecourse since 1755. Nowadays, there are fifteen meetings a year, most of which take place within the summer months. Equipped with a new glass-fronted Grandstand (opened in 1997) and having won a major award for the care of the racetrack, we are proud to be in the top flight of Britain's smaller courses.
