Warwick
Warwick Racecourse is one of the oldest in the country - it is believed the first race was run in 1728.

The course was based on Warwick Common, part of which was owned by Warwick Castle and the other section by the public.

Overlooked by Warwick Castle, the course sits in the centre of the town, and still retains many of its oldest buildings.
