The Experience
This Day at the Races experience consists of an exquisite restaurant lunch/dinner (Course meal / a la carte menu / buffet) and two exclusive enclosure badges, granting access to most Premier/Club/Members areas within the racecourse. Enjoy the hospitality of one out of 36 racecourses in the UK and experience the 'thrill that is racing...'
Day at the Races for Two - BLUE includes:
- 2 exclusive enclosure badges
- Lunch / dinner (2-4 courses / a la carte menu / buffet)
- Most restaurants provide astonishing views over the track, CCTV and betting facilities
- Most restaurants reserve your table for the day
Vital Information
- Excludes premier and feature race meetings such as Grand Nationals, concert/music meetings, Festivals, Derbies and few race dates throughout the year
- Can only be used at the racecourses listed below (Please contact us for details)
- You'll need to book your date as far in advance as possible (at least 3 weeks)
- Note that you will receive a confirmation of your booking, however your badges and travel directions will not arrive until 3-5 days before the meeting
There is always the option to upgrade your package for premier and feature meetings.
Please advise if you require a vegetarian meal, disabled access or any other important information.
The Weather
- Experience may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions
- Please call the location (or check www.racingpost.com) in the afternoon on the day prior to the experience to ensure that the meeting is taking place
Session Length
- Expect to watch 6 - 7 races - Allow up to 5 hours for your experience
- Experience will either be an afternoon meeting (starting around 11:30am)
- Or evening meeting (starting around 16:00pm)
Spectator
- Non-paying guests cannot accompany you into the racecourse (however most racecourses provide free access to under 16's if accompanied by an adult)
Dress Code
- Most racecourses require a smart dress code
- Racecourses are often exposed to the elements - warm clothing is advised
- You'll receive a detailed dress code description together with your badges
Availability
- Available all year round
- Jumping season runs from September to April
- Flat season runs from March to November (however flat racing runs throughout the year at the three all-weather circuits)
