Vital Information
You should book your date in advance, with al least 4 weeks notice. This includes all race meetings at Chester Racecourse in May. Badges will not arrive until at least 5 days prior to the meeting date and if you do want to a race meeting in May, a dinner/lunch, or to change the location you may be charged an upgrade fee.The Weather
Your experience at Chester Racecourse may be cancelled or curtailed due to the weather. You should call the location the day before the experience to ensure your meeting is still taking place.Session Length
You should see around 6 or 7 races during the race meeting which could either be an afternoon or evening meeting, starting at around 11:30 or 16:00 respectively.Spectators
Free access for all fixtures is offered to children under the age of 16.Dress Code
At Chester Racecourse a strict dress code is required. Gentlemen are required to wear a suit jacket, collar and tie, Ladies are required to wear smart dress and no Denim or Trainers allowed.Note that racecourses are often exposed to the elements so warm clothing on cold days is advised. Admission to the racecourse or specific parts of the racecourse may be refused by the racecourse to racegoers who are incorrectly dressed. This decision is made by the racecourse on the day.
