Exclusive Racehorse Ownership for One Experience

Own a Racehorse for a day and become part of the racing team with this horse racing experience. Visit the stables in the first part of your day and get to know your horse, the manager and trainer and talk about strategies and tactics. In the second part you will watch enjoy an "owners" VIP day-out at a race course to watch your horse race.
The Experience
You are about to enjoy the exclusive experience of owning a racehorse!
This unique experience is spread across two days! Day one will see you visiting the stables, meeting the racehorse and the Racehorse Ownership Manager and see your horse work on the training track in the fresh early morning mist. You will then enjoy lunch and discuss the racing plans for part two of your racehorse ownership experience.
Part two will be a day at the races where we can promise the adrenaline will be racing as fast around your body as your horse will be around the course. With a bit of luck you will end up in the winner's enclosure.
Your Approximate Itinerary for Part One
- 10.30am Arrival at training yard
- Introduction with Racehorse Ownership Manager
- Meet your Racehorse
- Oversee your Racehorse put through its paces on the training gallops
- Lunch
- Discuss with the Ownership Manager tactics & race plan
Your Approximate Itinerary for Part Two
- Arrival at racecourse
- Pick up your exclusive Owners badge at the Owners entrance
- Make your way to the Owners & Trainers bar where you'll get a drink
- When its time for your horse to race head into the Parade Ring, meet the jockey and go through final race tactics
- The rest is down to the horse and jockey - good luck!
Vital Information
Minimum age 16, if you are under 18 you will not be allowed to gamble. Vouchers are non-transferrable.
The Weather
This experience may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions. Please telephone the location in the afternoon on the day prior to the experience to ensure that the meeting is taking place.
Spectators
Non-paying guests cannot accompany you into the racecourse. Guest passes are required to be pre-purchased by calling us.
Session Length
Part one: Introduction to your racehorse - please allow up to two and a half hours, meeting at 10:30am.
Part two: A day at the Races as an Owner - most afternoon meetings start from either 14:00 - 18:00 or evening meetings from 17:00 - 21:00. Please allow up to 5 hours for part two.
Dress Code
Almost all racecourses require a smart dress code. Gentlemen are particularly advised to wear jacket and tie. Please remember racecourses are often exposed to the elements, warm clothing is advised
Availability
Part one is available every last Saturday of the month.
The second part is only available on selected race days.
Note that this is an exclusive experience limited to 4-8 owners on each session. Part two is subject to availability and limited to the race schedule for each horse.
Location
The first part takes place in Hampshire and the Racecourse for the second part varies and depends on the dates but is likely to be in the South of England (including venues like Ascot, Goodwood, Sandown Park, Salisbury, etc).
